Cost & Budget
How much does a website cost?
Website costs vary significantly based on requirements. Here's a general guide:
- WordPress websites: From £5,000 for a professional brochure site
- E-commerce stores: From £10,000 for a full-featured online shop
- Custom applications: From £15,000 depending on complexity
- Enterprise projects: £30,000-£100,000+ for large-scale platforms
We provide detailed, transparent proposals after understanding your specific requirements. There are no hidden costs.
What are your payment terms?
We typically work with a staged payment structure. For most projects, this means a deposit (usually 30-40%) to secure your project slot, milestone payments during development, and a final payment before launch. For larger projects, we break this into more stages. We're flexible and can discuss terms that work for your business.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, for larger projects we can arrange payment plans that spread the investment over the project timeline. We'll discuss options that work for both parties during our initial conversations.
Timeline & Process
How long does it take to build a website?
Timelines depend on project scope:
- WordPress websites: 6-10 weeks typically
- E-commerce stores: 8-12 weeks for a full-featured shop
- Custom applications: 3-6 months depending on complexity
We provide detailed timelines in every proposal. These timelines include time for your feedback and approvals—projects go faster when clients are responsive.
What does the project process look like?
Every project follows our structured process: Discovery (understanding your needs), Strategy (planning and proposal), Design (creating visual designs for approval), Development (building the solution), Testing (thorough QA), and Launch (deployment and training). You're involved at every stage with clear checkpoints for feedback and approval.
Can you work to a specific deadline?
Yes, we can work to fixed deadlines when needed. Let us know your timeline requirements upfront and we'll tell you if it's achievable. Rush projects are possible but may incur additional costs to ensure quality isn't compromised.
Working With Us
Where are you based?
We're based in Armagh, Northern Ireland, and work with clients throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland. We work equally well with local clients (in-person meetings available) and remote clients (video calls and collaborative tools).
Do you work with businesses outside Northern Ireland?
Yes, we work with clients across the UK and Ireland. Location isn't a barrier—we've successfully delivered projects for clients we've never met in person using video calls, email, and project management tools. That said, we're always happy to meet in person when it makes sense.
What information do you need to provide a quote?
The more context you can provide, the more accurate our proposal will be. Helpful information includes:
- Your business and what you do
- The problem you're trying to solve or goal you want to achieve
- Examples of sites you like (and why)
- Any specific features or functionality you need
- Your budget range and timeline
Don't worry if you don't have all the answers—that's what our discovery process is for.
Do you offer ongoing support after launch?
Yes. All projects include a 30-day support period after launch. Beyond that, we offer maintenance packages that include security updates, backups, monitoring, and support. For clients who need regular updates and new features, we offer development retainer arrangements.
SEO & Marketing
Will my website be optimised for search engines?
All our websites are built with SEO best practices—proper heading structure, meta tags, clean URLs, fast loading times, mobile responsiveness, and schema markup. We set up SEO tools and configure Google Analytics. However, ranking well requires ongoing effort including content creation and link building, which is a separate service.
Can you help with digital marketing?
We can set up the technical foundations—analytics, tracking pixels, email marketing integration, and social media connections. For ongoing marketing services like SEO campaigns, paid advertising, and social media management, we can recommend trusted partners or discuss our ecosystem services.
